Statutory basis and tax benefits

The MPP is based on the legal regulation in accordance with Section 3 No. 45 of the Income Tax Act (EStG). This states that the employee's benefits from private use of corporate data processing and telecommunications devices and their accessories, including smartphones, are tax-free. As a result of salary conversion, the gross salary decreases, which results in less payroll tax.
